Garball

In Pages, there’s an icon on the menu bar far right above the visual/html box that was added with NextGEN gallery. It’s the ‘Add NextGEN gallery’ icon. It then inserts a bit of code in your page depending on the selection taken for adding the gallery (ie: [nggallery id=2]).
I wish there was an error log to refer to! I’m new to WP (but love it)
Gary.
Another thing, the only thing that works is ‘insert NextGEN gallery’ Image list and Imagebrowser. Not only does the slideshow not work but under the ‘album’ tab, if I insert an album, nothing happens on the page load.
Would appreciate any help.
Cheers,
I’ve tried all this (chooseamc points) right from the get go. This has been the issue, doesn’t work! There’s something else going on here with this plugin! I have no where to turn.
Gary.
Darn, not working. I’ll post the contents of the header.php file for the theme I’m using (eveningshade). I also double checked the path, file name and spelling and everything looks correct in the script (FYI, my WordPress is in docroot/wp).
As you can see, if you go to http://www.aspenridge.ca/gallery, I still get the rotating ball.

When you say ‘below the header tag’, I don’t see any tag spelt ‘header’! Do you mean the </head> tag?
Gary.
Be more specific. Which file are you talking about, there are many.
I don’t want to assume anything.
Cheers,
Gary. This is really brutal! Spent days trying to get nexgen image rotation to work, no luck. New WP setup with eveningshade theme. There is no clear instructions on what and how to get this to work.
What I’ve done so far:
-install nexgen gallery
-download images, create galleries and albums
-install imagerotator.swf in: http://www.aspenridge.ca/wp/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/imagerotator.swf
-insert path to imagerotator as above,
-insert slideshow tag in static page.Result is a rotating circle.
Just to get to here took me days (many hours) and it really should not have. I think this is poor coding. The author really should know that many people are going to struggle with getting this to work.
Any help out there is hugely appreciated.
Gary.
