In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Support for Dropbox API 2?I sent an email to the plugin developer a week ago for the same reason and haven’t heard anything back yet.

In reply to: [WordPress Backup to Dropbox] "Column 'offset' cannot be null"?Thank you once again for this post, Rich. I found it about six weeks ago and resolved the same problem on my sites then had to make the same fix today after the updated plugin was installed. I appreciate the fix.

In reply to: Empty Spam Button Redirects to My HomepageI moved my website to a new webhost today by backing up my databases at the old site and importing them into new databases at the new site. The problem went away. This reinforces my thought that this was something my old webhost had done, albeit likely inadvertently.

In reply to: Empty Spam Button Redirects to My HomepageI had previously tried manually updating the WordPress files (I see that I didn’t describe this well in my original post) without success. I just reset the plugins folder and separately deactivated, deleted and reinstalled my plugins, also without success. The behavior persisted.
Thanks, Gary

In reply to: Dashboard Disappears After 3.9 UpdateA new version of WordPress Backup to Dropbox was released yesterday. I could not find release notes on it, but it appears to have corrected the incompatibility with WordPress v3.9.

In reply to: Dashboard Disappears After 3.9 UpdateBy the way, Ractors, the most recent entry in my error_log file was from just over two months ago. So nothing recent there. Thanks.
I’ve not yet heard back from the author of the WordPress Backup to Dropbox plugin.

In reply to: Dashboard Disappears After 3.9 UpdateI’m investigating further. I have only three active plugins. Disabling WordPress Backup to Dropbox v1.8.1 stopped the dashboard from disappearing.
I didn’t see anything about this on the support site for that plugin and have sent a support request to the author. I’ll update when I learn more.

In reply to: After updating to WP 3.9, I cannot access the dashboard.I’m seeing the same issue. After upgrading one of my sites to v3.9, when I navigate to /wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft (which is normally how I get to my blog) and wait a second or two, my entire dashboard disappears. If I click the any link other than Posts before the dashboard disappears, the dashboard stays where it should.
It seems to disappear only when I click on Posts in the dashboard.
Very odd.

In reply to: No Default Post Category in v2.1I’ve since seen the same behavior on my weblog – writing a post and either publishing it or saving it does cause the default category to be checked. It still feels like a bug, however, in that the default category is not checked by default as it was before.
I am, however, marking this issue as resolved. Thanks for your help, moshu.

In reply to: 2.0 Time Stamps of Draft PostsThanks for the follow-up, Ryan. I’m sure you and the rest of the WordPress community have been really busy this last week with upgrade issues. I know the forums have been hopping. I appreciate WordPress and the effort you and the rest of the team put into it.

In reply to: Login doesn’t stickThanks, Ryan. I have three WordPress blogs at my countrykeepers.com site. The cookie for each of them is set to expire either in November or December, 2006. And Keep Cookies – Until They Expire is set in my Firefox v1.5 installation.
I haven’t tried it in Internet Explorer yet, but I will.
