I’m aware of the hierarchy. The page you are referring to was the first page I read to try to get this to work. Unfortunately it’s of no use. Page.php (or page-ID.php) is still not being picked up. I even disabled all other template files so that only page.php is active in the ampforwp folder. Even then it’s not working. I’m at a loss here.

I would love to see this option too! I’m not interested in switching between editors and really want all those unnecessary files to stop being loaded. Not just CSS files. but also (mainly) JS files.
