    Thanks for your response!

I cleared my cache/history in both Safari and Chrome and the issue persists. It does seem like there’s some sort of issue with WordPress timing out, as trying to access my url/wp-admin gives an ERR_CONNECTION_RESET message before finally loading, and everything seems to take forever to load within WordPress itself. I have also gotten an ERR_CONNECTION_CLOSED error saying that my website “unexpectedly closed the connection.” I haven’t noticed a difference in my overall internet bandwidth, however.

Would the redirect issue plague other pages and posts as well, or would that be limited to the post whose slug I updated?

    Hi Steve,

I actually found the issue through the settings on the Jetpack plugin itself (I just have the free plan). Turning it on and off is causing other things to break, whether I do it through the Jetpack settings or through a3 Lazy Load, so I just added any pages that have Amazon photo links to the list under “Exclude by URI’s and Page Types” on a3 Lazy Load.

Thanks so much, again, for your help!

    Best wishes,
    Gwen

Thanks so much for your help! After what felt like forever, I FINALLY found what was causing the issue: Jetpack’s image accelerator. I had disabled plugin after plugin to no avail. To be honest, I didn’t even realize that feature existed.

    Thanks again for your help!
