In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Stuck at Restoring databaseThis problem has been happening to many of us over the past few versions with no fix in sight. I tried everything support asked me to do and nothing worked. I just ended up using another plugin to handle the import, because for whatever reason, if this happens to you, there doesn’t seem to be a reliable way to correct it.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import stuck at restoring databaseI had previously submitted a ticket through the main site, but haven’t received any word back since Jan. 5 when they asked me to send them my .wpress file so they can test it out. My support request # is (7036).
- Yes. This happens on all browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Firefox Developer Edition, IE 11.
- If this is the case, then should there be some kind of sticky notification on the forums? If a problem like this is preventing the plugin from actually working, users should be made ware so they don’t frustrate themselves and waste time testing workarounds that won’t work.
- Makes sense.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import stuck at restoring databaseWill do.
- After exporting the file, if I clicked on the Download Now link, it would not produce an error message and would not download. I had to manually grab the .wpress file from the \ai1wm-backups directory. Please note, that this only happens when running the plugin from a local installation of the website.
- See #1. The issues I was referencing are from other users who are experiencing the export stalling anywhere between 10-90%. I have not experienced any problem with the export file being created, just the downloading of the file.
- This is the first time I have heard about this problem and might be what I am experiencing. The website I am working on clocks in at 332 MB (.wpress compressed) and is around 600+ MB once extracted. As for plugins, the only one that might be causing issues would be Zippy Courses. While AIO WP Migration didn’t log any issues, other migration tools have had problems with the long filenames associated with Zippy Courses. I am also using PHP 5.4 on in both locations, so incompatibility isn’t an issue.

In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Import stuck at restoring databaseI have already tried that and cannot access the website to login, because it presents me with a 500 error and a white screen. It is obvious that there is a problem with the plugin since it worked fine previously and won’t work even on a fresh WP site.
Are there any other suggestions. I would hate to have to look for yet another plugin because of a bug.

In reply to: [HMS Testimonials] Reset testimonials ID order?Gotcha. Well I just deleted the plugin and reinstalled it which reset the IDs. I deleted the originals ones because I needed to use all new ones and didn’t want to mistake using any of the older ones. Since it was only 15 of them and I had them saved in a text file, retyping them was quicker.
