I just noticed my source code examples were all converted to images and lost the information, I’m reposting with html entities hopefully that will help…
Hi thanks for getting back to me I’ll try to be more thorough…
If I view a page I have on my site through the wordpress backedn via the text(html) tab, I have this code for the image…
If I click update on the page this is the exact source code I see when I use the browser option to view source code of the live page…
Once I use your plugin and either change what I currently have or add new information like this (Mr.Tutor-Tech Website Design Milton as a Child) for this image in the textboxes provided, forcing it to save then the source code of the live page turns into this
Before the update it looked something like this, so it actually looks to have become worse now…
The first source shows website=”” design=”” milton”=”” “mr.tutor-tech=”” milton=”” child1″=”” child”=”” which wasn’t there before the update. Another thing I’d like to point out is that I added a 1 and erased it from child through your plugin to force a save on that image to happen, so I’m not sure why child1 is still appearing as that 1 was removed and saved again…
I hope that helps with the situation I’m having…
I’m sorry but I’m still confused by the index images button, both the answer here and the description you get hovering over the button in the new version aren’t very clear…
While looking into this issue I noticed that if I update the page itself, that the info from the plugin disappears and it’s only returned once I make changes in the plugin which causes the information to be saved after leaving the alt/title textbox in your plugin…
I’m assuming that the index images is used to apply information from your plugin to pages that don’t have them or lost them…
I did try clicking it again but I only get a spinning wheel replacing my mouse pointer and not a progress bar, I do have a lot of images so I can’t tell if this is working, hanging, how far it’s gone or what’s going on from a user’s point of view…
