place-order-debug-*logs stopped on my side.From what I can see in the access logs, the issue was caused by repeated
wc-ajax=ppc-simulate-cartrequests. Disabling the cart simulation seems to prevent WooCommerce from triggering those checkout-related debug logs.So this looks directly related to the cart simulation behavior introduced around v4.0.3.
