I build my template in Artisteer and then exported this template to WordPress.
In Artisteer I defined the lay-out of my pages and this inluded the use of bullets. I removed the use of bullets in Artisteer, exported the template to WordPress and the problem was solved.
If you build your template in WordPress then I don’t know how to solve this problem.

Found the solution. I had to remove the bullets from my template.

I found what I was doning wrong. I forgot to copy the changes in the theme’s css to the new theme that I installed.
Problem solved.
