After more testing and checking on my setup the auto email backup feature works correctly
only the Create Database Backup button is whats not working for me
try admin, but if you can get to the login page the hide backend feature is not turned on.
the blank red error window will occur if you are using SSL on your login page
you may have to FTP in and delete or rename the plugin folder
so your saying wp-content does not work unless you rename the plugin folder or what you renamed it to only works when you renamed the plugin folder??
try upping your PHP memory, you can do this two ways depending on your hosting solution
ill try on my site to see if i have the same issue on WP 3.5.1 BWS 3.5.2
i am about to revert my WP install to 3.5, revert my DB to 3.5 and copy over BWS 3.4.8 from my main site if cant get this working soon, i havent gotten any word from the developer.
Update: I upped the memory to PHP 1024MB and still the Create Backup Database button fails with a 500 error and log entry as shown in my OP. I verified what WP was seeing for memory through WP and via phpinfo(). I own this server and have full access to everything.
I am waiting to see if the email function even still works at all, ill know in a couple hours.
Store Database size: 16MB (for the site that fails on me)
I have another site which is the main site of my online store, it has WP 3.5 and is running BWS 3.4.8 and it works just fine, this is what i get for upgrading my store when everything was perfect!
My store is a subdomain of my main site, each site is seperate and runs its own WP install and BWS plugin version. I tried copying over the 3.4.8 BWS from my main site and it still fails.
Just so everyone knows i only updated the plugins on my store site and once i saw Create Database Backup failed with a 500 error i only then tried updating WP to 3.5.1 from 3.5, so i had this issue at first on WP 3.5 BWS 3.5.2
yup i upped it to 1024MB, verified it within WP and via phpinfo() and still no luck, see my original post for more info including my log files, its a server i own and i have full access, the thing that gets me is my other sites, ill take my main site for example is on the same server, running WP 3.5 BWS 3.4.8 and it works just fine.

i opened a similar post and if you look at the posts there are at least 5 posts regarding the create database backup not working
mine is 16MB and it goes to a 500 error for me, in the logs it shows a PHP memory issue, but i upped my memory to 1GB
I have another site running WP 3.5 BWP 3.4.8 and it works just fine, its on the same server
youll need to go into your wp-content/plugins folder and either delete this plugin or rename the folder, then reinstall and try again, your site does some weird things, if i try to go to wp-admin it brings me to another web site all together http://www.soca.gov.uk/
deactivate BWP and test your form
if it works then you can go back and enable each one, but i dont use these and my site is safe and sound
try turning off the following
Filter Request Methods
Filter Suspicious Query Strings
Remove EditURI header
Prevent long URL stringsI tested my contact form and it works
