In reply to: Can't Upload New Images?I temporarily set permissions to 777 (and put them right back), but don’t want to do that all the time. Is there a real solution? Keeping in mind that I’m a technical beginner.

It says the “files and directories can be moved,” but I don’t know how/where to move them. The rest of it is totally over my head.

Now can you point me to how I really should make the site live? It’s all in a test directory now.

In reply to: [Twenty Twelve] Where do I upload images?ARGH! Thank you for trying to help me. Now I’m getting the “You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes” error, even though I DID change the permissions on the file, reloaded the page, signed out and back in, etc.
*bangs head on keyboard*
Any ideas for that one?
