In reply to: Uninstalling WPBakeryWell, it turns out a theme was forcing it to be used. I killed that theme, and I was allowed to deactivate the plugin.

WPBakery doesn’t offer any support to un-paying users and don’t have forum just a impossible-to-use Slack, so I’m here to ask the forum. Go to socialize-frontend.php and delete the following line:
add_filter('the_excerpt', array(&$this, 'insert_socialize'));That got rid the the boxes in my featured slider and in the_excerpt.

The boxes are showing up in my “Featured” slider on my front page, and I cannot get rid of them. They seem to be linked to both the content, excerpt, and truncate. I’d really like to be able to remove it from the truncate and excerpt.

Yes, it’s clearly a CSS issue. I spent four hours on Firebug yesterday before I posted here and on the theme’s support page. No one seems to want to help. I’ll just remove the plugin.

And now I’m locked out of my site! Help!

In reply to: Twitter Tools stopped updatingSo, I was able to get the tools working on three other blogs on my server. But not on my main blog. Even after I turned off every other plugin, it doesn’t work. I also deleted DB and reinstalled the tools. Still, nothing happens. It’s bizarre.

In reply to: Twitter Tools stopped updatingIt’s not the host. I tried using Twitter Digest, and it posted correctly. Unfortunately, that plugin has one option: Post every day. I don’t really want that. But it’s better than Twitter Tools, which is basically useless. I can’t believe how many bizarre bug reports are out there. Lost of people have simply given up on it.
