Yes, magically it works.
No idea what caused the change. I did have a conversation with my ISP prior to posting the issue, and they said they would look into it. Maybe they’ve made some adjustments on their side in the meantime. Wouldn’t tell me if they did. I checked both phpinfo() from this morning and current side by side, but found no difference.
The ISP has a habit of making changes in configuration without giving feedback about it, so it’s hard to tell.
So far, I encountered no more issues.
