Hi, it’s pretty easy… you have to update front-featured-boxes-section.php to add more featured boxes.
better if you do it in a child theme so that the updates won’t force you to recode.

However, I have discovered how to make it happen.
In CUSTOMIZE, under STATIC FRONT PAGE you have to select ‘A Static Page’ and in the drop downs, make the FRONT and POSTS page the same. In this case it’s the HOME page.
