In reply to: [WP Date Remover] Remove white border as well as dateUpdate: less than an hour later.
I’ve decided to use ‘display: none’ because our site is busy at this time and these new posts are especially being viewed. That empty white border really didn’t look good but we really don’t want dates on these particular posts.
Unfortunately, I have disabled WP Date Remover but my question still remains. I have created screenshots of the problem before my temporary “display: none” fix:

I hope those are enough for you but let me know if there is anything else I can provide.
So, “display: none” solves my problem up until I want dates on posts – and that’s not long from now.
Once again, really appreciate any assistance and the great plugin.

Ok, it’s been about a month and my site is still working! Thanks so much for your solution!
I planned on marking this thread ‘resolved’ now, but I see it’s already been marked as such – guess I did it by accident last time, I don’t know.
But it IS resolved and that’s what matters! My site is working just fine.
Would highly recommend this plugin to anyone reading.

In reply to: [PHP Settings] “Locally Overridden” but I didn’t do it.Update:
It’s 5 hours later and there’s now a third “Locally Overridden” directive:
memory_limit 256M
Really hoping this is much ado about nothing.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you.
I’ve done as you suggested and am happy it was so easy.
I’ll let you know in the coming days if my site goes offline again. If there’s a way I can tell before making an emergency request to my host, pls let me know.
Thanks again, I’ll be in touch.

In reply to: [Advanced Woo Search - Product Search for WooCommerce] Tag Results IncompleteThat trick worked! I changed it from 100 to 2000 and that fixed it! Many Thanks…
My assumption (as a wordpress beginner) is that I’ll have to change this same code anytime I update the aws plugin. Please let me know if I’m mistaken.
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Advanced Woo Search - Product Search for WooCommerce] Tag Results IncompleteActually, the migration has been completed much sooner than expected and the links are working fine and should be from this point forward.
I’d really appreciate any suggestions on this matter. Your plugin has been so amazing that I’m actually quite sad it’s no longer the perfection it was earlier.
Perhaps my site is now too large for this generous free plugin?

In reply to: [Advanced Woo Search - Product Search for WooCommerce] Tag Results IncompleteI should not have sent that support request when I did because I was forgetting my site is scheduled for migration today at 1pm central time (approx 4 hours from the time of this post) for the next day or so. Those links probably won’t work after that though I’m not sure exactly when they stop – but I’m hoping you can answer the question regardless. I can provide new links when the migration is complete if they’re necessary.
Sorry and thanks.

In reply to: [Advanced Woo Search - Product Search for WooCommerce] Google AnalyticsYES! It is working! We’re so happy – thank you! We love how images of the dresses appear as the user types – fantastic!
The delay was the issue, after all.
New question: is there a max number of search results I can enter into the “Max number of results” field? Or perhaps a max that you recommend?
Will performance suffer, the higher I go? I have it at 999 now and that seems to be working, but I’d like it higher – you think that’s ok?
I was about to click “mark as resolved” but I’m not sure if it will close this thread so I’ll wait for your reply first.

In reply to: [Advanced Woo Search - Product Search for WooCommerce] Google AnalyticsI think I wrote you too soon because I think it’s working now. I thought it would update immediately but I guess there’s some sort of delay before it displays (if that’s what was happening last night).
I only see my own searches though – so either no one else has searched or I’m still doing something wrong. I’ll ask some friends to do searches at their homes and see if they show up.
The plugin is exactly what I needed and we’re very happy with it – thanks.

Hi Maxwake,
Switching servers changed everything for me. WPallimport and so much else works fantastic now. My old server is very well known and respected (rhymes with ‘fomfast susiness glass’) but simply couldn’t handle wordpress well.
I was having the same problem and it was very frustrating. I received the same error consistently and kept lowering the records (all the way down to “1”). It ran very slowly and would stop and I’d have to rerun it again and again.
I’d cut the csv’s in half over and over and it would take DAYS for one import which meant WEEKS for multiple imports.
Then I switched to a wordpress optimized server – EVERYTHING CHANGED. Imports are a breeze. What took days before takes less than half an hour now – no joke. Unrelated frustrations vanished as well.
I really hope this message will help others experiencing these difficulties.
So, to anyone reading, make sure your server is optimized for wordpress. Things get so much better with the right host, not just wpallimport, so much more.
