I have an update regarding the issue. After following the initial troubleshooting steps, we have identified a specific failure in the image processing:
1. Issue Summary: While the “original” high-resolution images are being processed and stored correctly, the system is failing to generate the thumbnails. In both the WordPress admin dashboard and the live gallery view, the thumbnails appear as “broken image” icons. The full-size images are accessible if clicked, but the previews remain empty and fail to load.
2. Visual Evidence: I am attaching screenshots of both the WordPress back-end and the front-end gallery to show exactly how these loading errors appear.
We would appreciate any insights into why the thumbnail generation might be failing while the original uploads are successful.
