Sorry for posting in german, I’ll try to write it in English:
After installing UAM-plugin, it could not be activated (fatal error).
Following the post shown in my first (german) statemement, I could activate UAM.
When I created a usergroup, I noticed, that the choice(s) of roles seemedt not to be saved for the group. Regardless off what I chose, the group had no role after creation/altering.
Now I protected a static page by checking the group icon in its properties.
I then created a user with password and checked the corresponding UAM-usergroup-icon, also.
When I do start the WP-site, a user/pwd-requester comes up, in which I can enter what I want, it repeats always.
Besides this, the protected page is shown and there are several error messages sprinkled over the frontend.
I must admit that I am a newbie handling WP, but not to IT and programming (am yet 54 and since nearly 40 years dealing with computer issues, worked a lot in db-management).
