Whoop! Got it to work.. It was an issue with punctuation!!
So I changed the radio field from
No, I’m not interested.
to
No, I am not interested.
And,
Course I want isn’t available
to
Course I want is not available
and it’s working now.. Josh/ David, couldya check this out for yourselves? See if adding an apostrophe messes submission up for you? Could be a bug!
Thanks for everything and I think you’ve done a wonderful job.. As I said though, if you work on your documentation, you will receive extra love 🙂
Hi Josh,
Thanks for the link.. I’ve set up an SMTP service and tested it. Unfortunately, I’m still facing the same issue.
To recap:
I have a conditional form:
Are you interested in applying to Chennai Business School?
[radio] Yes
[radio] Nocondition: show if ‘interest’ is ‘yes’
Name* [txt field] Phone*[txt field] Email*[email field] Best Time [drop down]
condition: show if ‘interest’ is ‘no’
Why Not?
[radio] Just browsing!
[radio] Course Fees
[radio] Course I want isn’t available
[radio] Course duration[submit].
Please note that if I test the form and select ‘yes’ and input the required fields, if I submit it, I receive the mail.
If I select ‘no’ and select a relevant reason, then if I submit it, I DO NOT RECEIVE A MAIL.
I think maybe I’ve set the conditional form up wrong somehow (since I can’t find any clear instructions on how to do so).
Do I need to set this up some other way?
Please note that I’m not using the magic tags or slugs for the email setting in the mailer options — I’ve inputted a real email address.
Also, the debug report is NOT showing against entries when I enable it.
All other mail (auto responders, other forms on the site (I’m using Contact Form 7 as well) are all working fine with and without the SMTP…
