I’m getting the same problema in WordPress since January 1st (until now, WordPress was able to create new folders)
I have manage to make it work by linking to an HTML file which contanis the embed code for the YouTube video.
I know this is not a real solution but I hope it could be of some help for you while the problem is fixed.
