Thanks Peter
May do. I’ve spent more time lately in SQL space than procedural.

GrahamThanks Peter
Looks like it is a start. I’ll just have to work out the best way to use it.

GrahamYou’re welcome.
Thanks for fixing.
GrahamHi Peter
Yes, confirmed. However, as previously noted, if in-line editing is enabled and used, the html code is removed.

GrahamHi Peter
I’ve been able to enter HTML <i> tags through the Data Explorer edit function and they then provide the italic rendering when the table is displayed in the browser. Should this not have been allowed?
Regards
GrahamHio Peter
I’m inserting <i> and </i> tags into plain text, to italicise. If I do this for a field where in-line editing is enabled the tags get dropped. If I use the edit option in data explorer they stick exactly as entered and will still be there if I re-open. The text is rendered as required when the table is published and the page is displayed.
If I subsequently make any edit of that field through the in-line box then any tags get dropped.

Have done and all looks good. Impressively quick response compared with the ‘big boys’.

GrahamOn this topic, following your advice I’ve used dynamic hyperlinks which proves to be the best current solution, giving me a 3 level hierarchy and is generally working well. Is it possible to customise the appearance of the actual hyperlink?
Another point: I went into the WPDA Contact Us and noticed that it still shows https://hadleigh.strudwickstaging.co.uk instead of the site moved to, ie http://hadsoc.org.uk
In the absence of a ready means of sending the screenshot, here’s two rows from the Data Designer screen, relating to a single table. There’s similar pairs for each of the other tables:

I realise I posted my previous updates against the wrong thread. Here I’m back on the correct one. Can’t see how to attach screenshot here, but when I find a way you should see the bottom entry is the start of the old schema entries which continue on the next page, none of which can be accessed. Above are the new entries, each created by going into Data Explorer>Manage>Alter. No saving but on exit the new entry appeared.
I want to know if I can safely remove the old entries.

GrahamHi Peter
Perhaps you realised but the last few posts were against the wrong thread so might not have made as much sense as they should. The correct post was “ERROR: Wrong arguments [schema name not found]”. I’ll go back to that so the history is more complete.

GrahamHi Peter
I look forward to the fix. It will make this application much more usable.
I’ll be very happy to have this featured in due course but at the moment it’s work in progress as we explore which combination of features is best for us. This publication seems will give the best general facility when fixed. We also prototyped with the wpdageomap as http://hadsoc.org.uk/elementor-1189/ but can’t see how to use this to get back to the data.
What it also doesn’t give is access to the child members of a property. Is there any way we can link out of this to our data project, which you can see via the Local List top menu on the publication page?
Is there any way of getting from a map marker to the data?
Keep up the good work, it’s a great product and excellent support.

GrahamHi Peter
It seems to be behaving as if the map is ignoring the filter. If I step through the filtered list the map steps through the unfiltered list, I think.
I think you should be able to see at http://hadsoc.org.uk/elementor-1194/
For a filtered list try “Benton Street”.Regards
GrahamHi Peter
Yes, understand that but Data Designer is showing me two rows for each table design, one for the old schema and one for the new. Are these really two rows or two views of one row? I don’t want to delete one and see the other also disappear. What’s better, delete or ignore? I’m particularly cautious because there seemed to be no explicit updates.
