That is exactly what I had assumed, that it must be a problem with the newest version of the add-on.
I have been trying to rollback to the earlier version with a “Add-On Rollback” plug-in but can’t seem to get the plug-in to connect to the “add-on database” where it can download the earlier versions because WordPress keeps asking for the FTP credentials, which I have read might interrupt the connection to said database.Maybe anyone knows how to stop WordPress from asking for said credentials?
Still, thanks @tschimana for having been able to narrow down the possible source of the problem!
+1,
also using the latest version (1.23.3)
I have been trying to rollback to version 1.23.2 or 1.23.1 to see if that fixes the problem, to confirm my suspicion that the problem has been the last update;
no luck thus far,
as the WP Rollback plugin seems to have an error
connecting to the server
because WordPress keeps asking for the FTP credentials…Any idea how to stop WP from asking for the FTP logins?
+1,
same problem; any info on this would be greatly appreciated!
