@wfgerald, I didn’t quite know what you meant by resetting it… I chacked the version (4.7.1) and downloaded it before making any changes. I locked it down several months ago when an in-line update of Wordfence killed the WordPress installation. That required a complete database restore and ftp of all backup files to the remote site. It was not fun!
WordPress 5.0.4 (locked down to prevent updating due to “new” PHP nags and requirements) is installed on a shared Windows server, Windows NT WEB101 6.0 build 6003 (Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2) i586, running 32 bit php version 5.6, MySQL 5.1.63-community – MySQL Community Server (GPL).
I ended up completely removing the WordFence plug-in via the WordPress plug-in manager. I then re-installed WordFence from the wordfence.7.4.1.zip file downloaded from the WordPress plug-ins site, by entering “https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/wordfence.7.4.1.zip” as the download URL. Upon re-installation, the “Terms have changed” pop-up again presented itself, but allowed me to get to the next step, and agree with the new terms, etc.
Thus, I don’t have much more information to contribute other than the fact that the latest WordFence plug-in likely will not work with the setup described above.
Thanks for your prompt response. Tell me if there is anything else I can do to contribute toward a resolution of this issue, or of the issue relating to WordFence latest version killing my WordPress installation.

Oops, that should not have happened. When I submitted the code snippet, it embedded the code as a live but non-functional object in the rendered forum reply.
Here is the code that I intentionally edited to remove the < and > from the begining and end.
a href=”#” class=”wf-btn wf-btn-default” onclick=”jQuery(‘#wf-gdpr-review’).trigger(‘click’); return false;”>Review</a
Hopefully someone knows how to fix this issue.
FYI… here is the code from the pop-up button:
Something is preventing this from properly executing.
