Thanks I’ll give it a go. I may have found the issue but I need to test this. If I do a post using the quick post feature within BBPress then notifications seems to work fine. If I go to the WP admin bar and the select NEW -> TOPIC then emails don’t seem to be sent.
I can’t see much in the debug log for this plugin. The only line that seems relevant is this one, but I don’t think it relates to your plugin.
