Just to say that i have now resolved the issue, in the plugin settings there is a Disable “Labels” features option. When i enable this it resolves the issue and images are shown correctly again.
I went through and switched all plugins off and it did not resolve, which made me think it was a theme conflict, but before disabling the theme i tired this and it has worked.
