In reply to: [Anti-Spam by CleanTalk. Spam Firewall & protection] HORRID HORRID PRODUCTOK, so in my case, it was NOT CleanTalk’s fault. I had become the victim of a server level fail2ban instance which I was able to find and remove via the terminal/shell. (this was on a digital ocean wordpress multisite install).
So I apologize to CleanTalk and I am hoping the software does a good job of reducing/eliminating spam on my client’s sites.

In reply to: [Anti-Spam by CleanTalk. Spam Firewall & protection] HORRID HORRID PRODUCTI am a premium/paid user and having this same issue.
I wrote the premium support but hope to get an answer.
Here is what I wrote:
Ok, so I was trying to log in to a DIFFERENT site on the multisite than this one to install Clean Talk actually. I got the password wrong like 3 times in a row and then ALL the sites on the multisite started blocking my device/IP address.
I tried to whitelist my IP address on ALL SITES of mine but still won’t let me in unless I spoof my IP address with a VPN. This should be something I can QUICKLY resolve when it happens. Also, what happens when my clients somehow trip this issue and get locked out?
I tried Clean Talk a while back, felt it was too aggressive but thought that was due to international users. It has been on the shelf (even though I continued to pay) and now I am trying to deploy it again for clients. But I need more control over NOT locking myself or clients out.
Also, why don’t I show up on the log? I feel like this is a huge issue because if it is blocking my IP address, this should IMMEDIATELY show up on the log that this is happening and the IP address so I can check it/fix it if needed.
The concept of all of this is sound but I can’t have a tool on websites that doesn’t give ME control of who is getting locked out and telling me IMMEDIATELY if it is locking someone out, why, and how I can quickly unlock them if CleanTalk is making a mistake.
Thanks.

In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] remove instructorsAlso curious about this. Seems we should be able to remove instructor role.

In reply to: [Header Footer for Beaver Builder] CSS not being applied on certain pageOk I downgraded Beaver Builder Pro from 2.03 to 1.11.1 and then I had to go in and update a page from the beaver builder editor on each website and everything is working again. I am not sure if I can to to a lower version 2 install of Beaver Builder, but with 1.11.1 it is working. I haven’t had time to see if the formatting issue with header footer is solved but I will report any problems.
I am not sure if the conflict on the headers and footers was with the header footer plugin or with a different plugin. All I know is the headers and footers were showing from the main multisite site and the formatting on all the websites was completely broken and I could not edit or save from the builder itself. None of the modules showed up when I hit the add button and the done button did nothing.
Now that I am back in the editor, I see that I was using a beaver builder pro version 2 prior to 2.03 so it was definitely a ver 2 version previous to 2.03 update to ver 2.03 that broke everything.

In reply to: [Header Footer for Beaver Builder] CSS not being applied on certain pageThanks for the update. After installed, all of my websites on the multisite are using the header and footer from my main admin site and all of the formatting is broken in the site itself. It is a mess. Admin site for multisite:
https://dentalpracticewebsite.com
some sites that are now broken
https://saltlakefamilydental.com
https://wrightfamilydentalmidvale.comPlease help! I am on beaver builder pro 2.03
The one site in the multisite not built with the beaver builder theme is fine.
https://fourseasonsdentistry.comI may have to restore from the backup but I don’t really want to do that. Backup is from Saturday, with individual pages backed up daily so I can get back to before I updated beaver builder header footer, but hopefully there is just an easy fix.

In reply to: [WP Super Cache] Multisite- homepages ok, other pages all 404 Not FoundSince I need the sites working, I tried the uninstall instructions from the plugin from the details tab of the instructions:
To manually uninstall:
Turn off caching on the plugin settings page and clear the cache.
Done.
Deactivate the plugin on the plugins page.
Done.
Remove the WP_CACHE define from wp-config.php. It looks like define( ‘WP_CACHE’, true );
This line was not in the wp-config.php file. Could this have been causing my problem?
Remove the Super Cache mod_rewrite rules from your .htaccess file.
Removed:
# BEGIN WPSuperCache # END WPSuperCacheBut there was nothing in between.
Remove the files wp-content/advanced-cache.php and wp-content/wp-cache-config.php
Removed wp-content/wp-cace-config.php but wp-content/advanced-cache.php didn’t exist in the location.
Remove the directory wp-content/cache/
Removed.
Remove the directory wp-super-cache from your plugins directory.
Removed.
After doing the listed tasks, my sites were the same, base urls working, all other pages/posts returning 404 Not Found errors.
Additional instructions on details tab of plugin page:
IF ALL ELSE FAILS AND YOUR SITE IS BROKEN
Remove the WP_CACHE define from wp-config.php. It looks like define( ‘WP_CACHE’, true );
Remove the rules (see above) that the plugin wrote to the .htaccess file in your root directory.
Delete the wp-super-cache folder in the plugins folder.
Optionally delete advanced-cache.php, wp-cache-config.php and the cache folder in wp-content/.These instructions duplicate most of above instructions and so I had already done what I could.
I will now have to restore my server from a backup and hope the sites work again.
I have saved the wp-super-cache folder, my .htaccess file, and wp-cache-config in case someone willing to help solve this problem would like to see them. I also want to compare the .htaccess file from the backup, and what is there pre-restore of the backup. I will report here if I notice anything odd.

I wanted to see the problem from your perspective although I am not the one able to fix the issue. I noticed your links are the same except for a trailing slash. Did you mean to put up another link for the header page?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Gmail SMTP] Use multiple URLs with one projectI created different Oauth credentials (tried it twice) and it grants permission but I always get the error about the username and password not matching during the testing phase. Have you actually used one project with separate credentials and had it work for you?

In reply to: [Gmail SMTP] Fatal Error (500) when sending test mailI am using a no-reply g suite address for multiple clients/websites. It says I have 9 projects remaining in my quota (I have used 3). I thought maybe I could use the same project/app for multiple urls/websites so as to not reach my quota as I will have more than 9 more websites very soon. I get the errors described in this thread and it appears the solution is to do a new project. Is there a way to use the same project? I am just thinking of not using up my quota if possible. Google Cloud Services say that if the quota is reached, additional projects may be requested but a price may be involved.
Is there anyway to use the same project with multiple URLs?

In reply to: [Header Footer for Beaver Builder] CSS not being applied on certain pageNot sure if this plugin is abandoned or what but here is my solution:
If the header starts to not be formatted correctly, I just duplicate the page I am using for the header (I use this plugin https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/duplicate-page/).
I then open the duplicated header and publish it with a new name (Header 2). I go into page builder settings and change the Header Footer to use the new page “Header 2” as the header.
I then open the home page and save/republish it from Page Builder. Once saved, I check to make sure header is correctly formatted again.
I then delete the original page I used as the header so as not to get confused later. Then when it happens again, I do the same process but I name the copied page used for the header “Header” so I can just go back and forth between the naming the pages “Header” and “Header 2” as I have to do this fairly often.
Hopefully there is a fix for this in the works some day…

In reply to: [Header Footer for Beaver Builder] Height Adjustments on small devicesJust set the menu or row with the menu to not show up on small devices in the advanced > responsive settings. Then use a plugin like Responsive Menu https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/responsive-menu/ for your hamburger menu as it will stay with the screen as the mobile user scrolls and is just better IMO than the hamburger with beaver builder. You can then put some extra padding on the right side of your logo on small devices so that the hamburger doesn’t obscure the logo.
Also, you need to add CSS for items such as this to help with obscuring issues. I believe lower numbers push element back and and higher numbers pull forward.
#MainMenuRow {
position: relative;
z-index: -1;

In reply to: [Header Footer for Beaver Builder] CSS not being applied on certain pageI tried the solution posted by @payatola2287 but it did not work for me. I tried opening the builder of the header and saving, and I tried updating from the wordpress editor. Neither way fixed it. I also went to the home page using the header and saved from the builder and updated from the wordpress editor. Both didn’t fix it either. My example links above still show the problem. I hope you can look at this issue. Thank you.

In reply to: [Header Footer for Beaver Builder] CSS not being applied on certain pageI believe I have this same issue. Every once in a while the header seems to break formatting when the page is being used as a header. The actual page created to use as the header is fine, just the header in use that has the formatting broken.
Here are some test pages:
https://bbheaderfooterproblem.dentalpracticewebsite.com/header-3/
(the page used for the header)https://bbheaderfooterproblem.dentalpracticewebsite.com/
(home page where page is used for the header)It is very odd, when I first use the page as the header, it works and looks fine. If I edit the page used for the header (such as change a padding value etc), it then breaks on the regular website pages where that page is used for a header. I can get it working again if I go in and change to not use a header, edit the page for a while, then reselect that page as the header, but even this is hit and miss I can’t seem to always get it to work. IF I save the row and make a brand new page using that row and select that page as the header, it works, until I edit the page or header again then it breaks.
Not sure if this is related at all, but just fyi, when I created that website on my multisite as a duplicate of the site where I was having the problems (so I could give you something to test but continue to build the website for the client), I couldn’t even get into the beaver builder editor until I added SSL to that domain. This may have more to do with the domain “dentalpracticewebsite.com” having ssl so any subdomain would need it to route correctly to the editor, I don’t know. Maybe something with SSL and the multisite has something to do with this issue?
Looking forward to resolve this issue as it is driving me crazy for a while now.
