I resolved my problem.

The links for the downloadable PDF were still pointing to my WP.com blog I have now made private. So of course the files were inaccessible.

So, no problem with Htaccess, a plugin or something else.

If it might help some, I leave the message here 😉

There was a problem with the quotes but it sadly still doesn’t work.

I am using a multisite with the latest version of WP and a host with PHP 7.0.
