Same problem as above. No sitemaps being generated anymore.
Update:
According to the hostgator chat the issue should be fixed now.
Here is what the support person told me:
“it looks like there was an IP mismatch, the system had assigned an incorrect IP to the sites, which is why you were seeing the incorrect information.”
I have no way of verifying if users have cleared DNS cache.
It still switches back and forth between my site and the weird site.
I am in the hostgator support chat right now. Maybe they can figure it out.
I don’t think it is client malware, as I got the weird site too, but then it switched back to normal again for me.
