    Hi Nick,

    Thanks for the reply! Yes, unchecking that makes the icons disappear from the homepage. No setting makes them appear in posts.

    Front page display settings are “Your latest post”. Site is thesteelersfans.com.

    Thanks for that, but I don’t think that applies to me. I will want WP in my site’s root when it goes live.

    If you’re going to be developing more themes, I’d recommend installing WordPress locally

    Thank you. So, if I understand correctly, I’ll develop on my local Xampp, then backup and compress everything, create a new database and restore on my live site and ftp the files when it’s ready for production?
