In reply to: [Contact Form 7] email To: field has validation errosBut.. now I think I have a “solution”.
I think the best solution could be this.
To: The email you want the form submission to go to.
From: An email address and name associated with the server/domain/siteThen ADD in Additional Headers: “Reply-To: [your-email]”
This will mean the email will come to you with correct sender/header, but when/if you reply to it, then the reply will go to the submitter of the form.

I am the same as you.. Tons of forms that have been working for years now have “configuration errors”!?
..and I believe it’s a silly configuration “rule” that is causing the notifications.
I use [ From: [your-name] <[your-email]> ] in many contact forms and they all work. As you said it is the person sending the contact form email.

In reply to: [Rename wp-login.php] Alternative pluginAll In One WP Security & Firewall

This plugin has many options that are all adjustable.
One of those options is changing the login URL.(amongst many others)
Recommended. 🙂

In reply to: [Rename wp-login.php] Migration no login, but site homepage worksdsb0328,
The best idea, may be to delete the plugin and see if you can login viawp-admin.
Then re-install it.

In reply to: [Rename wp-login.php] Any chance this functionality will make it into core?I agree that this is top level plugin, and it is a shame that it is no longer maintained.
Looking for alternatives, and possibly someone to maintain it.

In reply to: [Rename wp-login.php] Login Not RedirectingI had a similar issue.. with a circular redirection that would resolve.
It was a problem with the new version of Nextgen Gallery clashing with Rename WP Login. Disabling Nextgen solved the issue.
Based on history it is a problem with Nextgen not this plugin 🙂

Agreed.
Stick to the default colours, settings and position.

In reply to: [Advertising Manager] Advertising Manager: Live and actively developed againScott,
WP says that Advertising Manager is not compatible/tested with the latest WordPress version.
Is that just a version thing, or does it need to be updated further?

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Ultimate TinyMCE gone with latest update(5.3) and WP 3.8.1While I understand the ‘turn everything off, go default’ scenario, it rarely fixes things IMO, and sometimes sounds like a standard response to all errors, of all plugins.
I chose the shorter and easier path, and simply downgraded to 5.2 without changing any other thing, and the editor is working again.
This would indicate to me an ‘error’ exists in the 5.3. version that is not compatible with something.
Thanks for your input.

In reply to: [Ultimate TinyMCE] Ultimate TinyMCE gone with latest update(5.3) and WP 3.8.1I did and it clearly says..
Ultimate Tinymce will still continue to function properly in versions of WordPress between 3.5.1 and 3.8.3.
Is that not true?
You can find the older versions of the plugin here
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/developers/
Delete the “new” one first and then reinstall the version of your choice.
