Thanks Jamie,
That solves it for me. I probably won’t use the filter but I’ll make sure the vendor display name is at least 4 chars…Tried everything still not working. I mapped the vendor_id to Vendor ID at import, still not working. Please note that another user claudiosalasg is reporting the same problem. Hope you can do a test on your side to confirm that it is/isnot working.
ThanksHi Mark,
Yes I use the default WC product import for almost 2 years, never a problem. But I have never used a “Vendor ID” column in the csv (it just defaulted to admin). Maybe that causes the problem now, can you keep this question open while I check it?
Thanks

Should I make the “3 characters vendor name can not be used” a new topic?
I can confirm the problem is fixed with this new update…. Thanks
Sorry for the late reply. I have narrowed the problem down to a three characters vendor name. It may also not be related to the 4.4.1 update. It did also not result in all products defaulting to admin (I just added new products as admin and could not change the vendor to my 3 character name vendor)
If the vendor name has 3 characters nothing will show up. The list box needs more characters to search/find a name.
My vendors names with more than 3 characters can be found and selected as normal. Thanks
