In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Need help with error: SKIP_CACHE_EXPIRED cdnreqHi, noted and I understand.
For the moment, I have removed the plugin from the loive site. When I have a moment, I will test it out again on the clone. Will update you if I have anything to share.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Need help with error: SKIP_CACHE_EXPIRED cdnreqHi, the web server requests log was provided by the hosting technician. I looked thro the PHP error logs on my site’s server but do not see any record for the plugin.
Last night I deactivated The Events Calendar and the internal server error that was seen when changes were saved in Appearance > Customizer page ceased. The plugin was causing the issue and I thought the two issues were unrelated.
Does the above info shed any light on why the plugin caused the 500 errors?
Unfortunately, the compromise is at the server level and not easy to remove without having the skills to do it. This means that even if you restore your website from a good backup, the issue will persist. What I did was delete the account on the server, recreate it (in my case on another server), and restore the website from a good backup.
After that: Have something like Wordfence to secure the site, enable auto update for your plugins. Always maintain a good recent backup offline.
Tested – display all albums: [gallery type='google' view='albums']

Hope you can let us know where we are going wrong.

Hi. I’m working on the same issue. The generated shortcode that is added on the page is:
[[gallery type='google' view='photos' album_id='AFsD2xqNytfNicdj5TQcmdcMm21KzNWcwHnO_GyZ-iINOeT14StUC7-4amLTitrtws7MusfX6cvl' main_size='1600' layout='random'] type=’google’ view=’photos’ album_id=’AFsD2xqNytfNicdj5TQcmdcMm21KzNWcwHnO_GyZ-iINOeT14StUC7-4amLTitrtws7MusfX6cvl’ crop_thumb=’crop’ columns=’auto’ more=’test’ main_size=’1600′ thumb_size=’150′ show_gallery=’test’ layout=’square’]
It looks wrong to me. It starts with two [[?
On the frontend, we see this:
[ type=’google’ view=’photos’ album_id=’AFsD2xqNytfNicdj5TQcmdcMm21KzNWcwHnO_GyZ-iINOeT14StUC7-4amLTitrtws7MusfX6cvl’ crop_thumb=’crop’ columns=’auto’ more=’test’ main_size=’1600′ thumb_size=’150′ show_gallery=’test’ layout=’square’]
You are right! I had earlier tested on Firefox and experienced the same issue. Today both Chrome and FF are working fine. I discounted cache because I felt I had cleared it sufficiently. Thank you for your prompt assistance. I really appreciate it.
Hi. I have sent the report. Thanks.
Hi,
Thanks for the suggestion. Tried it but it’s still the same.
Anything else comes to mind?
Thanks
