I have a similar dilemma. I changed hosting services and stupidly set up /blog when I had been using /wp. I got the template to work in /blog-but lost my archives so I renamed the folder /wp. I have my Blog in it’s entirety now, but mot on a template of any kind. It isn’t pretty 🙁 See what I mean?
