Thanks. I will need to figure out how to edit my current WordPress via PHP, as the current streamlined format does not make that as accessible as it used to be.

Do you mean that WordPress 5.2 has improved this fatal error? Also, how do I test it in ini_set?

Thank you for the suggestion. I will stick to your advice as the letter of the law for now. It just makes it scary for me if even WordPress plug-ins sometimes cause the white screen problem. This never happened in earlier PHP versions.
