I had a similar experience, maybe this can shed some light on the problem:
Everytime I upload a GIF to WordPress (using the regular WordPress Media Library, NOT NEXTGEN!), only the original size image is right, all the other (auto-generated) sizes have black backgrounds.
I had to manually create different sizes for the images (thumbnails, etc.) and upload them separately.
I have no idea which libraries or processes are involved, but maybe it’s the .gif resizing that produces this error (both in NextGEN and the regular media library)?
Ok, I tried a few things:
Both the siteurl and Home were set to http://tocha.garrote.co
Changing the siteurl to http://estudiotocha.com.br solves the ‘link address’ problem:
Now when I hover images, the address shown in the status bar is http://estudiotocha.com.br/…/image.jpg
But this creates a new problem: I can’t access the site’s Panel. If I try to go to
http://estudiotocha.com.br/wp-admin, it redirects to http://estudiotocha.com.br/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Festudiotocha.com.br%2Fmain%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
Any ideas?
