It’s about Gutenberg widget view, which doesn’t show wpForo widgets Save Button.

ok, Understood what’s happening
Download and install classic widgets plugin then when you select the usergroups of the widgets you will see blue Save Button, press it and then refresh the page.Forum: Plugins

You must have one Forum page, the default one which is created by wpForo plugin.
If you want to set the forum on the homepage, you should enable Turn WordPress to this forum board option from current Board settings.Forum: Plugins

Let’s start with wpForo Forum Page and wpForo Boards.Navigate to Dashboard > Pages, check Forum Pages slug and ID, then Navigate to Dashboard > wpForo > Board, edit the default Board and make sure that the Board Slug and ID are the same as Forum Pages.

wpForo Online Member’s widget has User Groups Settings make sure that you have selected which wpForo Usergroup should be visible in the widget.
You can select several usergroups with pressing CTRL button.Forum: Plugins
