In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Settings Menu MissingThanks for the reply, Bryle. Here’s a screenshot of the Updraft settings tab. https://snipboard.io/Nke0Jw.jpg
As you’ll see, the settings are blank. So are the Advanced Tools. I don’t think I can wipe the settings without being able to access the settings, unfortunately.
Sharing Settings ➔ General would share my email address publicly, which I don’t want to do. Is there any particular setting there you’d like to know about?

In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Settings Menu MissingI’ve also received an error notification at the admin email address. I’ve replaced the actual site URL with “site.com”.
An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 1364 of the file /home/customer/www/site.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/updraftplus/class-updraftplus.php. In reply to: [UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin] Settings Menu MissingThanks, but the old Gmail address that notifications are going to is not the site administrator’s email address. That was updated long ago.
The last backup notification I have for this site went to the current admin email address. It’s from June. (There were probably notifications sent after that, but typically I delete them on arrival.)
I’m still unable to access the “Settings” pane of the plugin settings.

In reply to: [List category posts] Security riskThank you for the fix, Fernando!

In reply to: [List category posts] Security riskThe report I got from Wordfence said that the vulnerability “makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary files on the server.” So it sounds like if you’re a single-user site there’s no immediate risk?

In reply to: [ActivityPub] Change usernameThank you for letting me know. At least I can stop trying now!
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [ActivityPub] Change usernameWell, progress but no progress. I discovered that what I thought was the plugin settings page wasn’t the settings page, but instead was the welcome page. And on the settings page I can have a general blog-wide username, which I’ve set to @wildmind@www.wildmind.org. (I’d still rather not have the www.)
But how do I follow that on Mastodon? I search for “@[email protected]” and all that comes up are a few older posts were I’ve linked to blog articles.
Selecting “go to profile: @wildmind@www.wildmind.org” brings up a 404 page.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Stuck after sendWhat worked for me was the advice here to exclude certain scripts from optimization plugins (my problem was with Autoptimize.
Thank you, @alimir. I can confirm that the issue is now resolved on my installation.
Thanks for the tip. I’m using Twenty Sixteen.

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Emails showing HTMLThank you! That field was rather messed up:

The Management Page message text was also messed up, and I’ve fixed that too. One more test wouldn’t do any harm, though!

In reply to: [Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] Emails showing HTMLIt was set to “no” so I’ve changed it to “yes.”
Please do go ahead and test it again. Thank you!
