In reply to: [MaxGalleria] Video columns not matching contentThat worked!! Thank you so much!
Thanks very much! I have done so.
I just discovered that I had the plugin Fancybox for WordPress installed and it conflicts with NGG Pro. If you have other lightbox plugins they may be overriding your NGG settings.
Any progress on this topic? Senor Senas, if one or more of us made a donation, would you be able to put some time in fixing this incompatibility?
I’ve been having the same problem and wanted to wait on updating NextGEN like teogotha, but I had to update to sort out a different plugin conflict. I can’t seem to find an alternate plugin that works. The ones that come up in search results, like Simple Lightbox, Responsive Lightbox, and WunderSlider, don’t work for me – they just supplant the existing FancyBox effect without adding swipe functionality on mobile devices.
If a donation would make a difference, please let me/us know what amount is appropriate.
WP version 3.6, NGG version 2.0.0
Theme: Easel
Website: castle-w.comAs soon as I upgraded NGG to 2.0, I got massive PHP errors on the page which has the gallery. I tried to replace the legacy shortcode with ATP but got a blank white screen. I double-checked all the stuff to rule out at the beginning of this post, and it’s all good there. I can’t switch my theme because it has some very special functionality that I need to run a webcomic, so if Twenty Thirteen works, I can’t use it.
I also can’t upgrade this plugin on one of my other sites, raftermen.com, because Photoswipe is integral to its responsive design.
I’ll echo the sentiments of others on this forum that more testing is required before rolling out a new version. I manage 5 WordPress sites currently and will be adding more clients as my business grows. I strongly prefer not to have to update a bunch of plugins at the same time as a major WP core update, because it’s harder to troubleshoot errors with so much going on. I know it’s important to keep things compatible, but it might have been better to super-triple-test NGG 1.9.3 with WP 3.6, just for compatibility. New features, as cool as they are, can wait for a time when designers aren’t grappling with a wave of new changes.
