Thank you for the compliment, I’m glad you like our sitemap.
SEO meta should always be done by the plugin as opposed to the theme, and rewriting the titles is one of the primary functions of the plugin, so we don’t have a great way of reliably not doing that.
There are two things you can try:
1) In the Performance module, set “Force Rewrites” to disabled. Depending on your theme, this may do it. (A future update will likely change this functionality and remove this option, so it’s only a temporary solution at best.)
2) Otherwise, the only other way is to use our API Filter Hook, aioseop_title and put in the title you want programatically.

What version of AIOSEOP did you update from and what version did you update to?

We’ve just released All in One SEO Pack 3.2.2. Please make sure you’ve enabled the schema.org option on the AIOSEOP settings page and let us know if it fixes this issue.

Can someone point me to the right place to fix this? I’m using Version 3.1.1.
Update to the latest version, and follow these troubleshooting steps to narrow down a plugin/theme conflict: https://semperplugins.com/documentation/how-to-troubleshoot-issues-with-all-in-one-seo-pack/
and the problem has surfaced only a week or so ago. So this issue is not related to a version change.
Then that likely means a different plugin or your theme changed, or changes were made to the settings.
One final thing, my source looks like below. Should the SEO title be inserted after the All in One SEO comment?
No. It’s inserted wherever your theme puts it.
What’s the latest on this issue?
On the GitHub thread it says you already have a patch for this and will release it soon.
Sounds like you answered your own question. 🙂
Any idea when that will be?
We’re releasing it as soon as it’s ready. Hopefully today.

In reply to: How to Use Custom Thumb for Homepage? All in One SEO Pack does do this. https://semperplugins.com/documentation/social-meta-module/#home-title-and-description
This is a known bug, and we’re currently working on 3.2.2 which should fix it. The bug is with our methodology in auto-generating the schema.org description from the page content when the content has shortcodes.
In the meantime, you should be able to “fix” it by either disabling the new schema.org functionality in the settings page (and then re-endable it once you’ve updated to 3.2.2)
or
manually enter a meta description for the affected page(s)
@miglia87 Did you enable the schema.org option? https://semperplugins.com/schema-markup-all-in-one-seo-pack/
You can use the filter hook aiosp_opengraph_meta to access the OG meta info.
If you have any suggestions or requests for the API, the best way to let us know is to open an issue on Github for each. https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues- This reply was modified 6 years, 10 months ago by Michael Torbert.

Thanks for letting me know. Caching is often the issue. 🙂
Thanks for the kind words. Would you take a moment to help us out and let others know with a five star review? https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/all-in-one-seo-pack/reviews/?rate=5#new-post
