@dratom Thank you for modifying your review. We’re always happy for the chance to provide excellent support.
I’m sorry you’ve had a negative experience.
To be clear, this is a free plugin, and has no yearly charge.
The Pro version, which is not hosted on this site, like most paid plugins, is a subscription. While we on paper have a no refund policy in lieu of a free trial (since the free version suffices as a “free trial”), the reality is that if you contact us we do typically issue refunds when requested on a case by case basis.
Since you’re posting anonymously, I’m not able to look up your account. You’re welcome to reach out to us at https://semperplugins.com/contact and we’ll be happy to assist you.As to your second issue, both the free and paid versions are 100% GPL, and always have been. You can read more about the GPL here: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/old-licenses/gpl-2.0.html

Where it asks for a “license key” just post the URL of this thread.
That’s very strange. Offhand I’d say it’s some aggressive caching.
Can you try clearing all caching you have, including server, plugin, and browser caching?Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re glad to have had you as a customer for so many years. 🙂
@wwwfoundry Same response as before basically. This error is saying /home/xxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/admin/aioseop_module_class.php isn’t there. I’d be a bit curious to know whether it does physically exist, verified via FTP.
However, the solution should be to delete it. Use FTP to verify that the directory is completely deleted in the plugins folder, then reinstall it. You say you’ve deleted and reinstalled it, but my guess is it didn’t fully delete/reinstall. I’d recommend uploading the plugin manually via FTP instead of via WordPress, since obviously something is getting messed up in that process.
The only other cause I can think of is a permissions issue, but you say you’ve checked that.
Unfortunately this is technically a problem not with All in One SEO Pack itself, but likely with WordPress, so there’s not really anything else we can do on our end. As that file obviously exists, there’s nothing for us to “fix” in the plugin.

You can find documentation on the home page settings here: https://semperplugins.com/documentation/home-page-settings/
I’ve created a Github issue here: https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/2943
However I’m pretty confident that the space won’t negatively affect your SEO. 🙂Pro tip: any time you’d like to make a suggestion, file a bug report, etc, you can do it directly on Github by creating an issue.

@utomjording
If you like, you can test out our fix here https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/archive/b4d354d7c8c293ede3a9b7e9e3ce3ff7df50bb9b.zip (Make sure to deactivate the current version first.)Out of curiosity, who is your hosting company?
We’ve absolutely fixed it in 3.2.8. If you’re still seeing it, it’d due to caching.
Again, this isn’t even an All in One SEO Pack bug, and as such there’s nothing more we can do on our end. It’s a Chrome bug, and they have fixed it in version 78. Ours was simply a patch until they fixed it. Update your Chrome and it should be fine.
Thank you for reporting this. I’ve opened a Github issue here: https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/2939
We’ll release 3.2.9 to resolve this, but we highly recommend keeping your WordPress and PHP up to date. PHP 5.2 reached its end of life 9 years ago, and no longer receives security updates.

Sounds like some sort of WordPress update error.
If you delete it via FTP and reinstall it you should be good. https://support.bestwebsoft.com/hc/en-us/articles/204977945-Delete-remove-uninstall-Wordpress-plugin-manually-via-FTPDo you have error logging turned on? https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/
If so, are any errors being logged? What about to the PHP error log? This is a bug between Gutenberg and Chrome, and isn’t specific to All in One SEO Pack (it affects every plugin with metaboxes).
We’ve “fixed” it in the latest version of All in One SEO Pack, 3.2.8.If you’re running 3.2.8 and still experiencing it, clear your browser cache.
You can also update your Chrome browser, as they’ve released a fix in Chrome 38.
