Thanks, threadi. I’m on with Bluehost now trying to solve. I hadn’t upgraded WordPress in years and yet it seemed to automatically upgrade itself just a couple of days ago. I have no idea why. I didn’t change any settings. I wish I knew what version of WordPress I had been using previously.
I emptied the cache and even opened in a different browser. All the problems still remain. 🙁
I’m noticing more and more that isn’t functioning. When I click on an image from a collection of images, it no longer allows me to scroll through the images. It just brings each one up separately. Then you have to go back to the original page to access the group of photos. What happened? This is a business site. I can’t afford to have it completely change overnight and not function properly. Do I have any recourse here or solutions? Thanks in advance for any help or insight.
Hey threadi, the plugin is still there and still not activated. I tried to add a photo to this thread, but it won’t let me. And the images in the Cover blocks are still giant. I was able to manually fix the first two on the page, but the rest are still completely wrong. http://www.halmasonbergphotography.com/individual-show-galleries/
This upgrade is a nightmare. I see now that I no longer have the option to create or access Cover blocks to place on different pages. The entire user interface is different than it was and seems to be completely missing key elements that I used daily. I also tried switching to Elementor to see if that would bring back some of the tools I had been using for years, but it won’t let me access Elementor. Says I need to rebuild a kit, but doesn’t seem to allow me to do so. Is there any way I can go back to the version of WordPress I was using before? I did not ask for this upgrade.
I can go in and change each Cover block manually and reset the image size and make the text white again (it’s now defaulted to black). But I literally have hundreds of Cover Blocks. Is there a way to fix all of them? Or do I literally have to go in and change each one individually and manually?
That plugin is deactivated. It was never activated.

In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] Full-width submenuThis is close. The menu dropdown items are now displaying horizontally with the code shared above, but the sub-menus within those categories show up at the bottom left and go away when I try and move the mouse to them. Is there a way to make them appear under the dropdown menu items?

In reply to: Business Lite page has suddenly collapsedWould that mean rebuilding the site? I’m afraid I’m not well versed in this. Do those themes still exist intact somewhere else?

iFeature Pro Child Theme The parent theme is missing. Please install the “businesslite” parent theme.”Yet there has never been a problem before. I made no changes. ???
