Thank you so much for your reply! You were right, that my question was concerned with GDPR. I thought that you had to ask permission for gathering statistics, even when you don’t collect any personal data.
Best regards
Hi @tonde2020,
I solved the problem when I changed the url settings and checked:
The front page url contains the language code instead of the page nameHave you tried that? What are your settings?
Best regards!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Polylang] 404 ErrorHi ercanbora,
I am also just starting out with Polylang. I tried to alter your url in a few ways. And with:
dolarkimya.com/language/de/dolar-kimya-deutsch/
I got the 404 but at least in the theme of your site.
Have you tried to alter the url settings? Could you share what your current settings are?
Best regards!Hi @moshe1111,
could please reframe your question? I am not shure what you mean. You would like to have some of the pages untranslated in the default language when the user is viewing the menue of your translated language?
I guess the best way might be to go to > Design > Menues and just add the pages as you please.Ok, sorry, I am leaving this on, in case anyone stumbles accross the same problem. I checked “The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id” in the Polylang URL settings.
Solved. So actually, I have to reframe my question: It all does work when I define all permalinks as the menue defines them. But I would rather have prettier custom defined permalinks. How can I do that?
