FYI the migration from BuddyBoss messages worked well, however in Better Messages the apostrophe character was escaped with a backslash, for example \’, so you might want to fix accordingly.

So if I install Better Messages to an existing BB site that has messages, the bm_message_messages table will be empty, then I can simply delete the better_messages_db_migrated (1) entry from the wp_options table and the old messages will automagically appear in Better Messages?
