Regarding the shortcode I thought by including -1 it was calling all reviews at once which might be the issue?
Please see the xray reports below showing the issues with the customer review plug in. The page on which the shortcode sits was the worse performing page when the report was run, so we need to try and make some adjustments, if you could make some suggestions please?
For clarification object cache pro was turned off when the reports were ran as it was exacerbating the issues. This remained off for a number of days until today when it was turned back on.

So I copy and paste that code into child theme php file and then do I have to get the plug in or not?
I don’t think php code usually requires a plug in too?
