@beautyofcode definitely wasn’t in spam – when I finally saw the response on the site I checked everywhere.
I received another message with no email notification FINALLY giving me an interaction number (8905598). And I’ve been asked for screenshots, which was literally the second thing I provided in the thread.Though I am still confused, I did find a way around this issue because it’s been impacting our business, and I can’t wait weeks for a resolution.
@ckadenge, it turns out I did get a response to my original request… 4 days later. And I didn’t receive any notification about it. And now I’m on read again since 9:30 this morning (PST). And it doesn’t look like they understood my question/tried linking me to something that doesn’t make sense with our issue.
Last time I had an issue I was able to request a call.
It’s super frustrating to have to wait 4 days between responses and not even get a notification via email about it.
@doublezed2 I actually tried to create a ticket before posting here and was left on read by the chat bot thing for over 4 hours.
I’ll try again but is there a secret way to get the chat bot to actually create a ticket?@serafinnyc we’ve been using woopayments alone to handle recurring payments but we’re really struggling with the backend of Stripe Express so we wanted to use ‘Standard’ stripe as normal.
So, my confusion remains – why would the page state, “If you would like to process automatic payments, we recommend the free Stripe extension,” and then not let the extension handle them?
@doublezed2 We’re trying to add the Stripe extension linked in screenshot i’ve labeled ‘img 3’ that directs me to URL https://www.woocommerce.com/products/stripe/. We’re struggling with Stripe Express from a financial end and would like to streamline things into our ‘standard’ Stripe account if possible. I saw the statement at the bottom of the screen indicating that the linked extension can handle automatic recurring payments and loved the idea – we’re just not able to understand if it’s going to work or not.
Yes, definitely good to know that only paid extensions show up there – except that we haven’t paid for WooPayments or Update Manager…
Yes, they’re all green for us as well.
Why would it state that the free stripe extension can be used for automatic recurring payments if it can’t?We (luckily) don’t have any active subscriptions and have suspended the product options for it until we get it sorted out so I’m not worried about it.
But it also doesn’t answer the question(s) about Stripe not showing connected within WooCommerce or the fact that the page indicates that Stripe can be used for recurring billing – we’re hoping to move over the functionality.
