Through the Telegram group I got the recomendation to “please try to enable to option “Generate TOC link Ids” in Advanced setting and check if it works otherwise let us know.”
That made it works but I keep wondering what the problem was 🙂

And I do not know how to check for console error. Is there a link to how to do that?
I am planning to throw out the Thrive Architect plugin, after I changed the landing-pages I made with that plugin, so the customizer issue will solve itself, as it was being caused by Thrive 🙂
If you had read my reply before, you would have seen that I already did rule that out :-). Disabling all of the plugins made no difference at all for the disaapeared save-button, just as using default twenty-twenty four (I am using default twenty-seventeen btw).
The customize problem is caused by the Thrive plugin, I suppose an update of them will fix this?
Everything was working fine until 6.7, and I never changed anything. So it’s a bit cheap to blame it on the plugins And I disabled all of the plug-ins, and the save button was stil disappearing. And I am just using a standard wordpress theme twenty-seventeen
And I just found out that the customizer layout is also f****ed up (and not working), see picture below It is just bad programming 🙂

Thanx for your suggestions. Settings are like that. In all later versions after 2212 I get an empty box with only the words “page content”, or no box at all. In version 2022 all works fine.

After a long search I found a way to sgow anexcerpt on the blog page, by customizing the “blog home” template with a “query loop” block. Is there a manual or some instructions about this complicated template customizing?
I have managed to add the featured image trough the “blog home” template by adding a block “featured image”. Still searching for a way to add a excerpt of the text. in older themes (tw17) you could do that by simply adding a “read-more” in the text of the post, but that doesn’t seem tot work in tw24?

That does not work. I have customized the blog page with the editor, because it contained a whole lot of example stuff. But I see no way or option to edit the blog page itself with a snippet or a featured image on the blog page, which was very easy in older themes without the editor
It seems that this is the same problem as in the twenty-three theme. Is that so? I don’t understand. Promoted as fully customizable theme, but one of the most important aspects, the mobile menu structure, is not customizable?
