In reply to: [Modern Events Calendar Lite] Unable to updateYou are not the only one who has issues with this update (v.7.10.0). Personally I have five domains on hold for any update warning to this extension. One minor difference, when I press more details on the update message, I get a popup winodw saying “closed”.
I have tried to raise the issue with the provider, but no joy or interest unless you have the paid version …
Thank you @jerry-nairn, that solved one of my recent issues with this calendar as well!
However, although I am using a free download, I wonder what the paying audience is feeling, as I would think they have run into the same issues …Regards,

In reply to: Templates disappeared thru 3.7 Beta 1 updateThanks esmi, but if I am the only user having this issue, I’ll rather uninstall the beta and re-install at a later stage.

In reply to: Templates disappeared thru 3.7 Beta 1 updateesmi,
Done, and no change, ALL templates are still blank

In reply to: Templates disappeared thru 3.7 Beta 1 updateYes, as far as I can confirm by looking at the file structure and number of files.

In reply to: Templates disappeared thru 3.7 Beta 1 updateSorry esmi, nothing visible missing in folders on the server.
Under Appearance/Themes all theme descriptions are in place, but the images are all blank boxex (except the Twenty Fourteen which is mini square-pattern’d 🙂
Going to Customize also reveals that the css is gone, i.e. there is no theme formatting available on any of the themes, although the css files are present in the file structure.
So, something has happened.I had edited the wp-config.php to include ‘nb_NO’ language. Have deleted this, retried the update, but still no solution.

In reply to: Templates disappeared thru 3.7 Beta 1 updateHi esmi,
Possibly, but tried a manual upgrade following the faulty one, no change. Will check the filestructure on the server and get back with you.

In reply to: [Custom Login] dismiss messageAustin,
My last comment was issued prior to discovering that v2.10 was available. This final update fixed the issue.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Custom Login] dismiss messageHi Austin,
Jason refers to a “fix which fixed his issue”. However, as I am still having the problem with the Dismiss notice refusing to be deleted, I just wonder what I should do?
Is this Dismiss-problem still regarded as an open issue, or a closed/solved one?
Regards,

In reply to: [Custom Login] dismiss messageHi,
Have the same issue with the Dismiss message refusing to go away, even after browser closure and emptying cache. This happened when updating to v2.0.5 earlier today from a previous version 2.0.3. As I just discovered yet another version 2.0.6, I tried that, but same result, Dismiss message refuses to go away.
Using WP 3.5.1.v/r
HansEDIT: Just updated another of my domains from v2.0.3 to v2.0.6 direct, same result …
And, the error should read “Dismiss notice”, not Dismiss message 🙂

In reply to: nb_NO version issueHi arvem,
Thanks for the tip, must admit I only checked the wp_config.php after the failed install to confirm it still included WPLANG ‘nb_NO’.
But, did you re-install the 3.5.1-nb_NO AFTER this, or did you just skip the Norwegian version all together (besides having WPLANG as nb_NO)??

In reply to: nb_NO version issueCopied, but to me it looked like it went through the entire install process (longer processing time as noted), without displaying any error-messages, ending up with no version change at all.
As I tried the nb_NO install on more sites, this was not a site-specific issue, but a general one.
Sorry for not being able to pinpoint this any better, or clearer.Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: nb_NO version issueesmi,
“My server” is hosted by a remote company, i.e. I do not have access to their logs.
As for my WP installs, all of these have WP_DEBUG set to false, have had no reason so far to change it 🙂Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: nb_NO version issueSorry, but no error-logs are active, so no trace available at this time.
