Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Made a mistake in myWordPress addressThat’s what I finally realized, and I’m not that far into it so I think that’s what I’ll do. This has definitely been different from my last site. Thanks for your help.

In reply to: Made a mistake in myWordPress addressI’m not sure where on the domain. I opened FIleZilla and followed the steps to enter a new site. I can’t specifically say where it put it, because I don’t know enough or haven’t learned yet that much about it. That probably explains how I was able to screw it up.

Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: Can't download popular themeThanks for replying. I guess that thread explains it all. I’m not necessarily hooked on Aesthete, but liked the antique look of it. I haven’t seen anything comparable, but with 1,627 themes in WordPress, it’s going to take some time to check them all. I wonder if anyone else has found something with the Aesthete look to it.
Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Can't configure Facebook pluginI’m using the Facebook for WordPress, Version 1.0.2 and now I can’t get past the App registration. It says that I need to verify with a phone or credit card, and when it comes back and says that my phone has been verifed, I go through the same loop again. Is there a better plugin that will acomplish the same thing?

In reply to: My color changes don't occurRE: “what does that have to do with WordPress?” I’m in the WordPress editor attempting to change colors of backgrounds, fonts, etc.!
No change that I make to any color value in Appearance/Editor has any effect on my site. I’m using a StudioPress theme, and the color values of thier demo (shades of blue) show in the css, but there are none on my site. There has got to be some explanation for this issue – I just need to know whawt it is on order to move on.
