In reply to: Deleted WidgetsThanks for the tips. Turns out that the Google Site Kit plug-in was doing all the nasty work. I deactivated it and, so far, everything has held. I’ve had AMP and AIOSEO conflicts in the past, but this has been the worst. Solved … for now.

Thank you but SEO Data Transporter doesn’t work either.
Sorry about my frustration. Both Firefox and IE were taking me to the Mobile version of my site as well as the mobile Admin panel. When I tried to disable the WordPress Mobile Pack Switcher, I got a message saying I could only do that from the Admin Panel — but of course the WordPress Mobile Pack wouldn’t let me get back to the REAL Admin panel. Since I couldn’t get to the Plug-in option, I simply deleted the entire WordPress Mobile Pack folder from my site. What a shame. I ‘m using WP 3.4.1/ Thanks if anyone responds — sorry to waste your time.

In reply to: Install won’t finishSolved the problem. When I extracted the zip file containing all the WP files, it must have terminated early,and some files didn’t get extracted and thusly did not get uploaded to the server. I started fresh and bingo it all worked.
