I figured it out.
In my front-page.php, I had the following code: ‘<div id=”responsive-menu”></div>’ This was overriding the default behavior and the menu was blank!

Was there another solution for this?
I tried disabling my plugins and making sure it works on my front page. But no luck. It works on all other pages except for the front page. The menu slider shows up but it is blank.
I tried using the shortcode for the plugin but it didn’t work out.
