Hi Henning,

At last I created ads.txt, and I can see it at
https://tsaritsyn-tours.com/ads.txt
I set Google Auto ads off
and tried to create a main sideboard Widget block with AdSense ad
I used Custom HTML: [the_ad id=”13230″]
and Advanced Ads: Ad Sense 1 (AdSense ad Responsive). Should be the same
But the ad still doesn’t show up.
Although the debug output writes that “The ad is displayed on the page”
Can you please advise something?

Hello,
I unpacked the folders
But the problem is they are all now located in the root of my directory. I have plugins folder, themes folder, uploads folder etc.
There is no hierarchy. There indeed should be wp-content folder, files like wp-config etc.
How can I create the hierarchy?
Or where can I see an example of such hierarchy to put the files manually?
I found an import button at my provider’s side:
https://mysqladmin.***.com/mysqladmin/server_import.php
But there are options which I don’t understand
If I try to import my db-zip as it is I get error

Hi Henning,

That was my question. Advanced Ads sees my account: pub-37968…., but doesn’t create ads.txt – file (“The file was not created”) and my ads-unit in the Main Sideboard doesn’t work. Of course I copied the code from Google, but this doesn’t help.
I can send you the full code if necessary, and all the other things needed.
What can you recommend?

No, sorry. And I’m not a programmer and won’t be, unfortunately. I’m a tour guide 60+. So, things like “creating an AdSense ad unit in Advanced Ads” are not for me, unfortunately again. Which ads I suppose to create? I simply tried to place standard default google ads in my side board, when it was before. And I started to think that google banned my site for Russian language due to the last political news, although I live in Israel. File ads.txt exists on FTP as before. “script data-ad-client” is the same. So I really don’t know what to do. To delete ads.txt to in order to substitute it with exactly the same file? What to you mean, please, by the second implementation? I didn’t put “script data-ad-client” twice in my start page. Where should I search for it? But the program really doesn’t create a new ads.txt-file and I don’t know why. Thank you. Yours, Igor

Thank you. Yes, it’s an option, of course. But I did some work later, and I still hope to understand why this crash happened. I mean the Primary Menu case and a strange stretched view of the Main Sidebar. I guess, I need to perform a very small change to fix it, but I cannot figure out which.

Let’s continue with one small questions. In which files (php, css) of twenty eleven the Main Menu is described? Do I have to change some files in my child-directory (functions.php, style.css)? May I have some working example? And more: if I disable child directory now, Main Menu still looks that strange way. I don’t remember changing something in twenty eleven directory. Could that be due to come V-checks I might performed on my site in panic? 🙂
