In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] False PositivesOkay, no worries. You’ve been very helpful.
It’s actually not a problem for me, as long as I understand what is happening. For example, if the plugin reports a broken link > and I click on the link to double check > and it takes me to the correct webpage > I can then feel confident that it’s not actually broken.
If that is the case, then I’m happy to keep using the plugin.
thanks again for your help.

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] False PositivesHi Thanks for your response. Yes, they are reported broken links from the Broken Link Checker plugin on my WordPress website. Sorry that my verbiage is not correct, I’m not so tech-savvy. When I go to the list of “broken links” on my backend, and I click on the links, it takes me to the correct webpage. So I think it’s not actually a broken link.
Yes, some of them are amazon affiliate links. So I gather from what you have written that this plugin will not help me with Amazon affiliate links. That’s disappointing because it’s mostly what I use it for.
But there are some others. For example, Broken link checker keeps telling me that an AirBnB link is broken, but when I click on the link, it takes me to AirBnB… so I think it’s not broken?Forum: Plugins
